Alumnae News l January 2024

Happy New Year Cougars!

I hope the new year has gotten off to a great start. As we embark on a new year, I want to kick off this month's alumnae newsletter by encouraging our alumnae community to consider making one of their New Year's Resolutions to reengage or delve more profoundly into our vibrant community.

We have so much in store this year, and whether you want to come back to campus for an event or tour, share your good news, or sign up for an alumnae committee, we want to be a bigger part of your life. Carondelet started us all on our path. Whether that path led us to become leaders in our respective fields, athletes, public servants, or even gave us best friends who we now get to walk with through our lives, we can all find ways to be thankful for that running start in our formative years.

Please don't hesitate to reach out to Caroline Cabral '15, Alumnae Engagement Manager should you have any questions, want to get involved, or just pop by campus. You can even reply directly to this email with any questions or to share your story—so what're you waiting for? Let's make 2024 the best year yet!

Blessings,

Caroline Cabral '15

Where are they now?

Jesset Sidor '87

“There are a lot of women like me who didn’t have a voice and who are trying to create a presence. That is why it is so important to represent these voices,” she said. “It’s having the courage to be ready to roll up your sleeves and be ready to do something about it.”

Isabella Veran '22

“I truly believe the lessons I learned and passions I discovered during my time at Carondelet led me to continue looking for ways to serve my community,” said Isabella Veran ’22. “The projects I did at Carondelet made me fall in love with advocacy and really started me on the path I find myself on.”
