Executive Council voted overwhelmingly April 20 in support of a resolution lamenting the ongoing deadly violence in the Holy Land since Hamas’ Oct. 7 attack on Israel, though some council members raised concerns about the resolution’s reference to the “potential genocide” of Palestinians.
Other council members questioned whether it was appropriate for Executive Council to approve such a statement just two months before the 81st General Convention.

Webinar Coming up for Creation Justice
Join Rev. Rachel Field for an exploration of An Episcopal Path to Creation Justice (the Path) on Thursday, April 25 from 6:30–8 p.m. During this webinar we will hear the story of how the Path came into being as well as learn how to organize volunteers for adapting and hosting this program at your home diocese and even in your parish. We will get a taste for how the process works for parishes involved in the Path and will depart with a deeper understanding of our own creation care ministry landscapes. This event is organized by The Center for Deep Green Faith.
