Allison Springer and her team sure have had a busy few weeks and it all cumulated with the Dutta Corp Fair Hill International Event. There, she competed with both the Lord Willing Syndicate's Lord Willing and her own Business Ben in the CCI2*, which also served as a National Championship.
Both horses really proved they were up to the challenge and were stars throughout the entire weekend. Lord Willing finished in 12th place in the extremely competitive division. The pair scored an impressive 48.3 in dressage, had a clean cross country round with a handful of time, and ended their weekend with a double clean stadium round. In the last three FEI events Lord Willing has competed in he has placed in the top 4 every time, with another top finish at Fair Hill he definitely put his name on the map for the future. He is extremely competitive in all three phases and really tries his heart out. Good boy Liam!
In addition to Lord Willing, Business Ben also had a banner weekend as well. "Ben" contested in his first CCI2* at Fair Hill at the young age of 7 but proved he was more than ready for the new questions and difficulty. He handled the exciting atmosphere with style and maturity beyond his years. Allison and Ben had a competitive score in dressage, had a clean cross country round with a handful of time, and finished up their weekend on Sunday in the top half of the massive division! Allison was thrilled with this young horse and he proved he will be one to watch in the future as well. It capped off what was a very exciting weekend.
As Allison celebrates her successful weekend and looks towards the final events of 2017, she would like to take a moment to thank her entire team. All her successes would not have been possible without the team of people she has behind her. From her owners, to sponsors, every person part of Allison Springer Eventing makes such a significant impact on the consistently amazing results she is able to produce. Thank you all!
