Interns Welcomed at Social
On June 2, the Alliance sponsored an evening social event at Pine Mountain Resort to welcome interns, co-op students and newly hired recent graduates working in our community. The group enjoyed networking, food, beverages, outdoor games and a few entertaining and competitive rounds of trivia provided by Justin Cowen. All attendees received prizes and swag from local companies along with information about fun things to do in the area this summer. A special thank you to the volunteers that helped make the night a success – Theresa Caylor, Luke Carey, John Orttenburger, Elsa Pontbriand and Justin Cowen!
Alliance Hosts Tour of Systems Control
The Alliance Government Relations & Advocacy Task Force hosted a tour of Systems Control for local elected officials and staff from the City of Iron Mountain and Dickinson County. The group learned about the facility expansions and business growth that have taken place in the past several years. The walking tour provided an opportunity to see the entire production process first-hand and understand the various workforce needs and challenges.

Special thanks to Brad Lebouef, CEO, Jon Harry, VP of Organizational Excellence, Nikki Bowers, Senior Executive Assistant and the entire team at Systems Control for welcoming our group!
