Alumni Kudos
Patch reports that Dr. Sandra Lindsay '10 (Nursing) received the Girl Scouts of Nassau County Impact Award for her community work. This is not the first time Lindsay has been recognized for her service. After she became the first US citizen outside of a trial study to be vaccinated against COVID, she was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom. Lindsay was honored at Lehman College's 2022 Gala.

Science Matters
Professor Luis Anchordoqui (Physics & Astronomy) co-authored a new theory about dark matter.
Anchordoqui is one of nine Lehman faculty members recognized as top-cited scientists in Elsevier's 2023 rankings. Brad Schoenfeld (Exercise Science) has the most of all Lehman science faculty.
