The Because We Care Committee is once again preparing a very special Easter Card for our parish. This card will be sent to parish members and friends on our church mailing list. If you would like to support this ministry, you may make a donation of $10. Your name will be included on the card. All proceeds benefit Because We Care.
Because We Care is a ministry that focuses on the needs of our All Saints’ parishioners. Our endeavors include but are not limited to carrying meals to members who are sick or recovering from surgery, sending cards to those who are not able to come to church on a regular basis, and sending Starbucks cards to our college students during exam time.

Coffee Hour Has Resumed!
Members of the Parish Life Commission are hosting Coffee hours after the 8:00 and 10:00 services through Easter. After that, they will be yours to host unless there is a special occasion. You may sign up in Baines Hall or via Sign-Up Genius: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/20F0549ACAF2FA3FF2-coffee .
We have alternated weeks on the two means of registering so that there is no duplication of effort. The recipe for coffee, which we are still making in the small pots and transferring to the pump carafes, is posted above the ice maker. Pre-packaged individual servings of food are preferred (commercially prepared or homemade), but are no longer required by the Diocese. We look forward to our post-worship gatherings as a parish family!
YOU Are Wanted and Needed…
Now that we are the closest to “normal” that we have been since early March of 2020, we are in need of some volunteers from the pews in order to rev up our offerings. In accordance with the National Church’s requirements, we need a second person in the nursery every Sunday morning at 8:00, at 9:00, and at
10:00. In order to volunteer, you need training to become Safe Church Compliant and have a copy of your training certificate on file in the church office. All church employees, all Vestry members, and all persons working with children in any capacity are required to be certified. Any other individual, 16 years of age or older, is eligible to become certified. The certification is good for 3 years. To work in the nursery, volunteers need to complete the “Universal” training. Visit this site http://www.diosova.org/article462905.htm to
register for the on-line training modules. When you have completed your training, remember to print your certificate and share it with our Parish Administrator, Kelly Young. Thank you!
Helping Ukraine
The Outreach Commission has placed envelopes in the pews for your use should you wish to make a donation to assist the refugees from Ukraine. If you are making a cash donation, feel free to write your
name on the envelope. VENMO is also at option @allsaintsvb, or you can go to our website:
Building & Grounds and God’s Garden are hosting the Spring Cleanup Day this Saturday from 8:30 – 12:30 pm all around the church! Please bring your implements of choice for our cleanup.
