We ask that we remain mindful of other’s comfort levels, and we will continue a physical distancing section down front on the right for those who desire that level of security. Two sets of pews will be designated by white ropes.
And I thank you for the smooth return to having communion wine for all. It makes this priest joyful to be able to offer you the Body and Blood each Eucharist!

What a Great Day!
On Saturday, March 19, 171 volunteers, ages 5 to 80+, gathered in Baines Hall and assembled over 21,000 packaged meals for Rise Against Hunger.
And done in record time. The first shift started at 12 noon. The second shift started at 2 p.m.,
and by 3:15, all supplies had been packaged.
But there’s more. With a boost from Cape Henry Collegiate, Girl Scout troops, the volunteers, and parishioners like you, we gathered enough non-perishable food to make deliveries to four local food pantries: Eastern Shore Chapel, Holy Apostles, The Gathering at Scott Memorial UMC, and Holy Family.
A little bit more. We raised over $6,000 to cover the cost of the rice, the vegetables, the soy protein, and the supplies needed to package over 21,000 meals. We are still taking donations, as our goal is to hit the $7,000 mark.
To have that many people in Baines Hall at one time was a joy to behold. The vibe and the energy was off the charts.
Thank you to all who worked, all who collected food, all who gave monetary contributions, and all who spread the news of this event. It truly was a community event.
Thank you, thank you, thank you.
