Mission: Joy...

an evening about human potential!

A group of All Saints' folks came together for a friendly meal and a viewing of delightful insights and pure humor from the Dalai Lama and Archbishop Desmond Tutu. As we watched the documentary together, we were moved by the wisdom of the two spiritual leaders:

  • The purpose of life is...to be useful, to be honorable, to be compassionate, to have it make some difference that you have lived and lived well.
  • We learned about the power of love: The more you are motivated by love, the more fearless and free your actions will be.

Upcoming evening gatherings

May 8: Who Exactly Is "The Black Madonna?"

June (TBD): The Return of Rabbi Michael Panitz

Easter Flower Dedication

We are thankful to all who helped provide flowers to decorate our Sanctuary for Easter. A number of them now grace the yard around our church.

A flower donation with dedications was delayed in the mail. Because it arrived in the office at the end of last week, it is being posted, with gratitude, here.

  • In memory our our grandmothers, Charmian Carter and Ada Bright
  • In honor of Tatum Love for her wonderful spirit and persistence.

Given by the Love family and Cindi Bright

Dare County Scholarship Announced

Thank you, All Saints' member, Susan Smith! Susan, who also serves on our Vestry, has created the Smith-Cooper Scholarship for Dare County Students.
