We have had alot of wonderful visitors this week with the All Carolinas Shop Hop - look out - more people have found out about your local treasurers! Can't wait to see all the new faces and make lots of new friends.

Holiday Fun Bundle are here - 4 great projects for you learn from. Karen Montgomery has a great program - purchase your fabric kit from the local shop and get added to a Facebook Group where video instructions will be passed weekly during November for your pleasure to make holiday gifts or just increase your sewing skills, table runners out of panels - wine bottle decoration, tote that can be used while traveling with the sleeve to go over your suitcase, and placemats. Lots of great tips to help you with your future sewing needs. Cost of program is $99.95 for complete kits for all four projects - all you need is machine, thread and sewing notions to make four wonderful projects!

We have had more visitors this week that have come in to Check out the #ScottSentMe challenge - Scott the President of JAFTEX fabrics is challenging customers to get out to shops - take a photo in the store with personnel to verify you were in the store and show a receipt for your purchases and you can be in the running for prizes directly from him. If you stop in and say Scott Sent Me - with your purchase I will give you a Seam Guide Ruler of your very own! This program runs 1 Sep - Dec so you have lots of time to have fun! Traveling around North and South Carolina during October or November - get your passport in the magazine for the All Carolina's Shop Hop. Cost is $9.95 plus tax - has 7 projects and lots of advertisements and explanations for all the stores! There are 64 participating shops - you can just do your region - or spread out and learn more about other areas of our state! Something fun for even the youth - with a separate youth passport available in each magazine!

Looking for some fun during the dull days of winter? Romancing Eastern North Carolina Shop Hop is scheduled for the first two weeks of February 2022. Passports will go on sale 1 Oct for $5 with a free reusable shopping bag while supplies last. This hop include 8 local stores to our area - come and see what we have in store for you this year!

I have been having a lot of new sewers come in and want instruction. I am more than willing to provide help - because it is just me at the present time - call to make arrangements. I have had them come late afternoon - early morning - we can make it work for your schedule and mine!
