NATIONAL NIGHT OUT 2024, AUGUST 6 |
Register Now for a Free Block Party
National Night Out (NNO), which will be held this year on August 6th, is the nation's night out against crime. Residents are encouraged to join with their neighbors to have a neighborhood block party, ice cream social or other outdoor event to build neighborhood spirit and unity - which is the first defense against crime. Research shows that when neighbors know each other and look out for each other crime goes down.

BEST PRACTICES FOR SIDEWALK ACCESSIBILITY | |
As we all enjoy the mild weather and do our best to get outside and move, it’s more important than ever to keep sidewalks clear. Whether walking or rolling, we want our community to have safe access on our City streets.
As a reminder to residents, encroachment of private landscaping onto sidewalks inhibits safe access for all. Please trim vegetation so it does not impede movement or make passage unsafe on our narrow sidewalks. The City arborist is a valuable resource for questions regarding effective tree pruning and other tree care.
More information about the City’s sidewalk repair program can be found here. Thank you for your part in keeping our City safe, accessible, and beautiful for all.
