Being Refreshed by SPRING

What is it about the first blooms of spring that lift our hearts? Crocuses, daffodils, early tulips, and dwarf irises push their way through the winter debris and declare, "Winter is nearing it's end!" Isn't it that way with our lives at times? Perhaps we are going through some hard things, and then, almost as if God is blowing us a kiss, we are reminded that we are loved and our own personal winter will not last forever.

Many Snowflakes Adopting and Placing Families have described the feeling of 'winter' to us at all stages of their journey. We are for you, always working to help you complete your adoption. We pray regularly for you, trusting that 'winter' will soon be over.

Recently, many Snowflakes families participated in a study to assess parents’ perception of the psychosocial adjustment of their children born via embryo donation and their relationships. Here are some of the highlights:

  • Parent-child relationship quality is favorable.
  • Child behavioral adjustment is good.
  • Child social/emotional adjustment is excellent, and,
  • Embryo adoption does not appear to increase the risk of adverse obstetric of fetal outcomes.

Isn't it great to have some research to back up the stories we've been hearing over the last 25 years?
