"There is a love that fills the universe so completely and richly that it is impossible to separate from itself.
It is a holiness, a blessed everlastingness,
that is indivisible and so sweet.
You will never see or comprehend it, or pin it down,
but it gives of itself without thinking, like the warm light of the sun in the morning."
Meister Eckhart

Guided Retreat: Spiritual Eldering
"Spiritual Eldering" is a wide-open claiming of the experience and wisdom of one's own life. It is particularly helpful to collect ones' own personal history when reaching the sixties and seventies. There is a depth of inner presence to oneself and one's life that doesn't emerge until that time. When we boldly claim all that we have experienced as wisdom, both painful and joyful, we offer back to life and those who know us a rare gift of vibrant life. Through reflection questions, writing and meditation, you will recognize your own wisdom as gift received and given.
Private or shared room, home-cooked meals.

Remember to Remember
This is what Old Man said to me one time. He was speaking of ceremony, of the act of bringing myself closer to Creator, returning myself to innocence, my original power.
Remember to remember.
He meant for me, throughout my day, to recall that I've taken the time to pray, to give thanks, to ask for a return to humility.
Remember to remember.
When I do that, everyone and everything becomes the beneficiary.
It's a good teaching - as long as I remember.

"What if we acknowledged, in each interaction with ourselves and with others, the eternal, beautiful interconnected energy that flows between us?
What if we recognized our equality and celebrated our differences?
Imagine how the world could be."

"Heaven on earth! Thanks!"
"First time here after hearing about it from others. Loved the 'easy flow' that seemed to surround the whole setting. Felt very welcomed and 'at home'. Thank you."
"In this sacred space I have found sanctuary and a spiritual home. There are simply not enough words of gratitude. I am blessed to walk on Holy Ground, and go forth in deep Peace."
"No other place is like "heaven on earth" as Loretto Maryholme...like "heaven on earth" the attention to detail and reverence to nature and beauty is second to none. The cabin was truly a sanctuary, so well-equipped, thoughtfully designed and kept. I feel the prayers and beauty everywhere!"
"This is my second visit and & was excited to come. The experience begins coming down the driveway. Beauty, quiet, nicest of welcome. All accommodations thought of. Great food, exceptional facilitation... lots of space for silence. I truly love this place & will surely be back. It is compassionate & an oasis where souls can rest & heal."
"Loved it! My stay was very peaceful, restful, and spiritual. Thank you for this space."
