Cuyahoga County Reentry Week 2023

The Cuyahoga County Office of Reentry and community partners are proud to present the 2023 Reentry Week: Restoring the Returned. This annual event will take place April 23 - 29 in venues across Cuyahoga County.


LMM is excited to be a lead partner in planning several of these events including a People’s Reentry Assembly: Community Conversation, Chopped4Change Cooking Competition and the annual Charles R. See Forum on Reentry. Click the button below for a complete list of events!

The People's Reentry Assembly: Storytelling Workshop

Please join LMM for the Second Annual Reentry Assembly on Saturday, April 15, 2023. This year’s program will focus on the power of storytelling as a tool to change perceptions and policy. The program will take place at Lutheran Metropolitan Ministry and is open to returning citizens and those indirectly impacted by the criminal legal system.

Register Now for the Charles R. See Forum on Reentry

Tickets are now available for the third Charles R. See Forum on Reentry! Don’t miss this year’s conversation with Andre Ward, Associate Vice President of the David Rothenberg Center for Public Policy at The Fortune Society. The Friday, April 28, 2023 lunchtime forum will highlight the importance of lessening institutional and legal barriers to employment for returning citizens and how such changes can create stronger and more equitable communities.

LMM Staff Advocacy Committee Convenes

Earlier this week, LMM’s Staff Advocacy Committee met for their bi-monthly committee meeting. This meeting dove into LMM’s Reentry Advocacy work, and provided a preview of LMM’s April Reentry Week activities. LMM’s Office of Advocacy is grateful to this volunteer committee for helping to guide the agency’s advocacy priorities and ensure the department staff is aware of what is happening in each program area.
