What is the Gospel?

Sunday, March 31st

What are we supposed to be doing here on earth as we await the return of Jesus? What is our mission? Our purpose? Join us this week as we talk about the mission of God’s people in light of Christ, the Messiah.

Weekly Wondering Packets (including Daily Prayers, Digging Deeper Guide and coordinating Life Group Curriculum) are available each week on Sunday to further explore this Sermon Series. You can find those resources (for this week and ALL previous weeks) HERE or at the Welcome Center on Sunday.

HE IS RISEN! This Easter Sunday in Adventure:Kids, we invite you to join us at either the 9AM or the 11AM service. This week, we come together to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus with a lesson titled, "Jesus was Raised". Happy Easter!

Key Passage: "Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all that is in them, saying: “To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be praise and honor and glory and power, for ever and ever!” - Revelation 5:13

We can't wait to see you this Sunday!

Sermon notes and challenges for families are available on the Adventure:Kids Facebook page, OR click here for a pdf version.

Weekly Wonderings

Many of you are in full swing with our Weekly Wonderings packets and that makes us so excited. If you missed what they are all about, this is a way we are celebrating the Lent season as a church family with opportunities to lean in together throughout the week. The resources and activities provided are to support you, and whoever may be participating with you, in drawing closer to Jesus throughout this season. Grab one after church on Sunday!

If you have picked the last few packets, and have done the activity, don't forget to bring your "Wonder Wall" interactive piece with you to church on Sunday to pin to the board! If you missed the first packets, but still want to check them out, you can grab them on Sunday along with the one for next week!

Or check out the digital versions of the last few packets here:

Packet 1: Ash Wed

Packet 2: What do we believe about the Bible?

Packet 3: Who is God?

Packet 4: Who am I?

Packet 5: Who are We?

Packet 6: What is the Church? Packet 7: What is our Mission?

For any questions about Lent or how we will be participating together throughout this season, please contact Sam.

Passover Dinner

Wednesday, April 10th from 5:30-7:30pm

Passover is known as a celebration of freedom. Traditionally, Jews celebrate the freedom that was given to the Israelite people through the rescuing from enslavement in Egypt. As Christians, we can celebrate freedom in this story from long ago, and also the freedom from sin, death, and oppressive powers of the present evil age given to us through Jesus' death and resurrection. The same God who freed the Israelites from Egypt sent His Son to rescue us from sin, and the Holy Spirit to actively battle evil in this world today. He is worthy of our praise, so let us celebrate freedom together!

Passover is an interactive experience, it immerses us in Jewish traditions and culture while we pray, eat, worship, and celebrate. Plan to learn, eat good food, drink a lot of grape juice, and enjoy great company. We hope that this experience will also help you prepare to possibly host your own Passover dinner. We look forward to celebrating Passover with you!

The suggested donation for this event is $5-10 per person, or $15-25 dollars for families with 3 or more people. This can be paid via cash or check at the door. We do not want the suggested donation to be a barrier to your attendance, please email Callie so that we can ensure you can participate.

Please register for this event HERE

This section is a weekly reminder that God is Good!

He is good to us every single day & we will praise His name!

Shared from our Next Gen Coordinator, Tara Haag:

Our Youth rocked the rink last weekend, many of them trying out roller skating for the first time! It was a blast to watch them zip around, encouraging each other with big smiles and laughter. Thank you to all the parents and chaperones who helped make this happen!

This space in the newsletter is a small way we continue to celebrate the goodness of God all year long, and practice being aware of His presence in our lives. So, if you have stories of God's goodness big or small, hit reply to this email and send them our way. We would love to hear them, pray in praise over them and talk to you about sharing them.

To spur your thoughts to God's goodness start by asking yourself these questions:

What Good have you witnessed recently?

What Good has God brought into your life?

What Good has God prompted you to do for one another?

God is Good!!
