Gospel in Focus

December 3, 2023 Jesus advises that no one will know when the “lord of the house” will return home. “Watch,

therefore; you do not know when the lord of the house is coming... May he not come suddenly  and find you sleeping.” —Mark 13:35-36

Discussion Questions

Think of your typical day. If Jesus arrived at your door, what would your response be? Would you be ready to welcome Him?

What does it mean to you to be “sleeping” spiritually? How can we be watchful in our spiritual lives?

God is good and faithful! What good things are we waiting to receive this Christmas?
