We would like to advise you of an enhancement to HMAA’s Group Service Agreement (GSA). All employer groups will receive an addendum in the mail, which amends and supersedes the following section of the GSA.

• Eligibility Criteria for Dependents - Defines an Eligible Dependent.

The revised language removes the requirement that dependents must reside in the Plan’s service area (State of Hawaii) and incorporates other non-substantive changes.

All other terms and conditions of the GSA remain in full force and effect. Please keep the addendum with your Plan documents for future reference.

Pursuant to the Continuation, Modification, and Termination of Agreement section of the GSA, HMAA has the right to amend the GSA’s terms and exhibits with sixty (60) days advance written notice. Clients are not required to sign and return the Addendum to us. It will become legally binding on January 1, 2024.
