Next Gen Fourth of July Popsicles & Parking

This Independence Day, Next Gen will open the parking lot for cars coming to the fireworks display as a fundraiser. They’ll pass out popsicles and light the way to Cauble Park with flashlights! Come help Next Gen welcome the community to the celebration!

OWLS Trip to Rome Braves Game

July 9, 2024 - Leaving at 5 pm

Take me out to the ballgame! The OWLS (Older, Wiser, Loving Seniors) are taking a trip to the ballpark this summer. We can’t wait to see you there! $16 per ticket, plus $5 for gas. Register by July 1.

VBS: WILD LIFE

July 8-11, 2024 from 9 am to Noon

PreK 3's - 5th Grade

Think about the weirdest animals you know. What noise does an aardvark make? Is an axolotl really smiling? Are glass frogs made of real glass? Is a wombat a type of bat? It's wild that God helps each animal grow and thrive . . . and us, too! Wild Life is 4-day adventure where kids discover how special they are to God and how wild it is that they can share their story, use their gifts, spend time with God, and spend time with others.

Pre-k 3 to 5th grade. $25.

Lake Weekend - Stay Afloat!

Middle School Summer Retreat

Tracy, TN

For our MS students. Join us as we talk about staying afloat in the coming school year. Ways we can love and support each other. Ways we can stay connected to Jesus and grow in our faith. Relax and play before getting back to work this school year.

$185 per person.

A short drive away to Tracy City, Tennessee. Just outside of Chattanooga.

NEEDED: Next Gen Ministry Leaders!!!

Friends, we are growing! God is moving in our children and families through Next Gen. But this means we need more leaders to serve our kids on Sunday mornings. Your leadership allows Next Gen to thrive.

Leading Children's Sunday School Classes looks like:

• Serving with a partner teacher. You can trade being the lesson leader so you only lead once a month and you'll always have a back up!
• Reviewing the provided Sunday School lesson prior to Sunday.
• Participating in whole group for 15-20 minutes.
• Discussing the weekly lesson with your class group on their age level for 10-15 minutes.
• Leading a craft and/or game for 15-30 minutes.
• Leading prayer time for group for 10 minutes.

Starting in August, we'll need 8 leaders each week for preschool & elementary school classes for our 11 am service! We also need 4 leaders for 9:30 am service.

Children's Sunday Schools at 9:30 am:

• Preschool: 2-3 years
• Bird's Eye Assistant Leader: 4 years & up (in McClure's Balcony Classroom)

Children's Sunday Schools at 11 am:

• Preschool 2-3 years
• Preschool 4-5 years
• Kindergarten - 2nd grade
• 3rd - 5th grade

We need 8 leaders to serve 2 times per month on Sundays.

That's 8 hours of service through Christmas.

24 hours throughout the whole year!
