Free Covid Vaccine Clinic by CORE
May 14 from 11 pm - 3 pm
CORE is providing free covid vaccines for underinsured & uninsured members of the community. Pfizer vaccines will be available for ages 5 and up. Boosters and pediatrics are available. The CORE organization will also provide benefits navigation for our community including SNAP, WIC, TANF, Medicaid, and community resource guides.
This is a great service to share with our community!

(Rescheduled) Wellstar Suicide Prevention Workshop

Spend an hour… save a life. Wellstar offers an evidence-based suicide prevention course that educates the community to help save lives. Participants will learn how to: recognize suicide warning signs, identify protective factors, have the difficult but necessary conversations needed to determine safety, and make referrals to local professionals. Register by 5/19.

Emmaus Encounter: Face to Face

HS Beach Camp 2024
May 31 - June 3, 2024
Laguna Beach Retreat in Panama City, FL
Send your HS youth to Laguna Beach and experience dynamic worship, big group games, and small group breakout sessions. We'll stay right on the beach in the same facility we were in for the 2023 Beach Retreat that includes 2 pools, basketball courts, beach volleyball courts, an on site dining hall, and convenient beach access. There will be plenty of afternoon free time to enjoy the beach with your youth group. Registration is open now - reserve your spots early!

RAP 2024 (Rabun Aid Program) Summer Mission Trip
June 19 - 23, 2024
Clayton, GA
The Rabun Aid Program, better known as RAP, is a Christian Mission Camp. RAP provides an opportunity for youth (rising 8th graders) through young adults to use their time and talents to aid the elderly, disadvantaged, and disabled citizens in our community through the spirit of Christian love.
RAP FAQ:
- Registration fee includes lodging, meals and snacks, and RAP t-shirt.
- Meals included: Dinner on Wednesday, breakfast, lunch, dinner Thursday-Saturday (except for lunch on Saturday), and breakfast on Sunday. Snacks are also provided. We want everyone to be well fed and energized! If you have special dietary restrictions, please note that on your registration.
- We will be given the opportunity to eat lunch out on Saturday afternoon. It will be at each team members expense (bring money ~ $15-$20) and each team will decide based on their work load and schedule, where they will be eating. There will be no sack lunches available for Saturday.
- RAPpers: rising 8th graders - high school seniors (grade level fall of 2024)
- RAPper +: college aged RAPpers (graduated from high school - 24 years old)
We will need adult chaperones for RAP! Contact Danielle to go!
Regular pricing: $180 - February 1st - May 1st (or until registration is full) Deposit of $75 is due at the time of registration. Your registration will not be complete until deposit is received.

VBS: WILD LIFE
July 8-11, 2024 from 9 am to Noon

Think about the weirdest animals you know. What noise does an aardvark make? Is an axolotl really smiling? Are glass frogs made of real glass? Is a wombat a type of bat? It's wild that God helps each animal grow and thrive . . . and us, too! Wild Life is 4-day adventure where kids discover how special they are to God and how wild it is that they can share their story, use their gifts, spend time with God, and spend time with others.
Pre-k 3 to 5th grade. $25.

NEEDED: Next Gen Volunteers

Friends, we are growing! God is moving in our children and families through Next Gen. But this means we more leaders to serve our kids on Sunday mornings.
Your leadership allows Next Gen to thrive.
Volunteers will help teachers by assisting with crafts & games, supply runs, potty trips, and snack handling! We need 4-6 volunteers weekly for nursery, preschool, & elementary school classes for 9:30 & 11 am services!
This is a great way to serve parents and help children grow in their faith!
A monthly commitment would mean the world to our kids!
