Norfolk's 48th Annual Harborfest

50+ group on Norfolk Trip

Our 50+ Active Lifestyles group enjoyed a day on and near the water at Norfolk’s 48th Annual Harborfest as a part of the Parade of Sails aboard the Spirit of Norfolk. There was a two-hour narrated cruise which included lunch. Upon returning to shore, participants had free time to experience the festival and tour some of the featured ships that were already docked. CHESTERFIELD TRIAD

Chesterfield Triad is a partnership among the county’s Sheriff’s Office, Police Department, Fire and Emergency Medical Services Department, Aging & Disability Services, older adult service organizations, and individuals from the community. It strives to educate seniors and caregivers about programs, services, techniques, and systems that help prevent crime against seniors and improve their quality of life. Triad meets the third Thursday of each month at 10 a.m. at the Beulah Recreation Center, 6901 Hopkins Road.
