The verdict is in.

If there's one thing we learned from our October 9 Day of Response, it's that K9Nation must engage more people; lots more people. And we agree, because...

We can't do it alone. And even if we tried, we wouldn't succeed just like any other organization for the past 150 years.

That's right. In spite
of numerous organizations
over the past 15 decades,
our dogs and cats suffer in greater numbers ever year!

Irresponsible breeding, cruelty and violence, abandonment, neglect, commercial exploitation, and the killing of unwanted pets continues unabated and out of control.

Greetings!

K9Nation has taken the initiative.  Now it's up to thousands of Americans to keep the ball rolling by mustering up contagious energy the likes of which have never been seen in support for our best friends. We all must step up to the plate, pitch in, and encourage others to do so too. We've talked the talk for 150 years; in 2013 it's time to finally start walking the walk beginning with K9N's Leadership Initiative.

Leadership Initiative
K9Nation takes a vital step forward. We're asking  concerned and
compassionate Americans to come together to share their visions for our best friends, and formulate a dynamic foundation.

It's all about involvement. Sharing and discussing possibilities. Reaching practical solutions that will work. And embracing anyone of any age who cares, and who wants to share their thoughts.

This is no time for thinking small. Only when we think big, organize big, and perform big, will we amass the necessary strength.

Part 1: National Organizational Teams

We've set the stage with an exciting lineup of programs and services. Teams of concerned and caring individuals from all over America consider each one, and likely come up with additional solutions.

Participants may join one or more teams in the areas of education, legislation, rescue and adoption, and administration. As one team member volunteers to serve as team leader, the discussion begins, ideas are put on the table, and concrete procedures take shape.

Find out more & check out the teams.

Part 2: National Board of Advisors

Those particularly enthusiastic are invited to serve on the new Board of Advisors.

One advisor for each of 334 districts throughout the United States will serve as a close inner circle with K9Nation's founder and the Board of Directors. Together, advisors will play a significant role through K9Nation's early development.

Check out the districts in your state, and learn how to sign up.
