Action Request: Make Your Voice Heard!

Tell your State Senator to Oppose S.699-C

Legislation that will ban neonics

Senate bill 699-C, sponsored by Senator Brad Hoylman of Manhattan, is pending before the New York State Senate. This bill would ban the use of neonicotinoid insecticides in landscape and ornamental horticulture applications. Your voice is needed to tell state lawmakers that neonics are essential for protecting green spaces, including golf courses, from insect damage that could devastate our green spaces.

Please take a few minutes to send a letter in opposition to your state senator through the GCSAA E-lobby system.

This bill is a serious threat to the green industry's ability to control insect pests. As you know, our industry employs best management practices to minimize the impact of pesticides on pollinators. We all need pollinators in our environment and we can manage the risk between pollinators and pesticides!

Take action today to fight this proposal that will eliminate neonics from your pest management toolbox!

Thank you for your support.
