NEWS & NEW ARRIVALS MAY 2024

Thanks for checking in with your friends at Acoustic Music Works! We're plugging right along, with a regular rotation of excellent new and used instruments coming and going all the time. In recent weeks, we've gotten nicely caught up on repairs (which never lasts long!) and we've also expanded our Eastman offerings, with 75 unique models on display and many more waiting in the wings.

GUITAR OF THE MONTH - COLLINGS 002H 12-FRET

(NEW) What a gorgeous little guitar! A new combination for us, we decided to combine the tried and true tonal appeal of an all-mahogany 12-fretter with the higher contrast ivoroid appointments found on Collings' rosewood guitars. Topped off with a full-body sunburst, it's hard to stop staring at this one!

Mahogany top, back and sides, full-body sunburst. Mahogany neck w/ standard modified "V" profile, short 24.9" scale length, 1 3/4" nut and 2 3/16" string spacing at the saddle. Ebony fingerboard with short pattern diamond and square inlays, ebony pyramid bridge with ebony pins. Solid peghead (vs the usual slotted) with highly figured ebony overlay and nickel Waverly tuners. Price includes hard case.

A feast for the eyes and ears, we've been waiting on this one to arrive for quite some time (and we were NOT disappointed!). Very special piece!

The Furch Little Jane Is Here!

Furch has meticulously engineered their Little Jane guitars for not only portability and comfort, but also tuning stability and a shocking quality of tone from such a small instrument. Our very first ones have finally rolled in (after a long back order) and we are impressed. Late to the party, maybe, but impressed!
