Dear Lower School Families,

As the School Closet Committee of the Parents' Association of Columbus Academy (PACA), we wanted to reach out to share details regarding Columbus Academy's Clothing Exchange Closet also know as "The Closet" before this evening's Back to School Night and tomorrow's Get to Know You Conferences.

The Closet is open to EVERYONE! Did your child have a growth spurt? Pants too short? Drop off the old ones and swap them for a gently used pair! Need some spirit wear or different uniform options? Come see what we have!

The Clothing Exchange Closet’s mission is to provide: (1) short-term, emergency provisions of clothing during the school day; (2) long-term exchange of CA clothing for students and their families at no cost; and (3) a more sustainable and eco-friendly resource for families to supply uniform-code clothing for their children.

The Closet is located down the hall from the nurses' office in the lower level of the Middle School building. It is open before, during and after school hours. (Please check in at the front desk in the Administration Building during the school day or contact security during after-business hours.)

Please feel free to drop off any gently-used CA apparel (including dress code tops, bottoms, shirts, sweaters, belts, socks, leggings, sweaters and spirit wear) in the bins around campus or just inside the closet.  All sizes - youth and adult - are welcome!

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

In Viking Spirit,

The Clothing Exchange Committee
