Responsibilities include:
- Monitor and maintain the Arkansas Wireless Information Network (AWIN) and related network infrastructure.
- Perform regular network performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities.
- Respond to network-related incidents and troubleshoot issues reported by end users or detected through monitoring systems.
- Provide technical support and guidance to end users regarding network access, connectivity, and related issues.
- Implement and maintain network security policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of network incidents, resolutions, and changes.
- Generate reports on network performance, utilization, and potential issues.
- Collaborate with IT teams, vendors, and service providers to ensure seamless network integration and support.
- Communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders, translating technical information into understandable terms.
