Rockin Tots Development
Rockin' Tots was created and developed by Darlene Graham a well known family musician and entertainer. Rockin Tots is not your typical Music mommy and me program. This class is designed to engage little ears and grownup ears as well!
All classes are performed by Darlene her guitar and her beloved Ms. Lucy. Take a musical adventure where you and your child can sing together, play musical instruments, dance with scarves, read musical stories, bounce around the room, and even catch musical bubbles:-)
Each Class is different and unique in its own way but all equally as amazing! It is wonderful to watch each child explore for the first time and eventually master and grasp the skills and concepts taught such as loud vs. soft, fast/slow, up/down, song
repetition, language development, aural discrimination of sounds and inner ear development. Of course our Music and Movement class introduces even more skills. Bridging fine motor and gross motor skills, steady beat and internal rhythm, language repetition and nursery rhymes, self expression and creative movement to music and sounds. Concepts such as bounce, run, jump, wiggle, shake are becoming concrete and children can master these skills. Finally our Partial Separation Class is for children ready to take the next step and gently separate for the last 15-20 minutes of an hour class time. This is a gentle approach to separation while introducing independent musical concepts and skills.
