Student Feedback on Student Services Programs
In Spring 2023, the ARC Research Office asked students to give feedback on their experiences with Student Services programs. We want to thank students who took the time and effort to share their experiences with us. Below are highlights of what students told us they wanted and what ARC Student Services are doing toward meeting those needs.
Students told us they wanted more access to counselors, a better online counseling portal and appointment system, and better quality information about counseling. Here is what ARC Counseling has been doing:
- Hiring more counselors who will begin working in July 2024.
- Holding some drop-in hours each month in some HomeBases.
- Updated the appointment self-scheduling link and process to improve the portal.
-
Updated the counseling website and phone messaging to reflect accurate hours of operations.
- Established a new Counseling Center email that is checked daily by staff so students do not have to wait on the phone for a long time.
- Created a feedback form on the Counseling website for students to communicate comments, concerns or even kudos!
This April, students will have another opportunity to give their feedback about ARC Student Services programs in the annual Student Satisfaction with ARC Support Services survey. The survey will be distributed via emails from the ARC Research Office. Thank you in advance for taking the time to complete this survey.
