APS to Transition to In-House Food Service Model
APS is excited to announce that starting in the 2024-2025 school year, our food service operations will be transitioning from a vendor-operated program to an in-house model to enhance the quality, healthiness, and diversity of the meals provided to students. With this transition, we aim to better the overall quality of ingredients used in school meals, offering students healthier and more nutritious food options. APS will continue to engage with students, school staff, and community members to develop recipes and menus that are nutritious and taste great. Join us at the Family Engagement Conference tomorrow, where we'll offer families a chance to taste-test potential menu items.
