APOMA's Colorado Tech Workshop is coming up in November 2022!

The APOMA Tech Workshop is held every other year in a rotating location and features timely topics of interest to our optics manufacturing community.

The 2022 Tech Workshop will be held November 9-11, 2022. Courses and speakers will focus on the most pressing topics facing the industry today. Signature talks will cover deep knowledge of ISO 10110 standards, ITAR, and state-of-the-art optical manufacturing techniques.

The workshop will take place at the historic Hotel Boulderado. Built in 1908, it is one of the most famous and luxurious hotel landmarks in Boulder, Colorado.

Space still available in MCC's Summer Optics Courses!

The Optical Systems Technology program at Monroe Community College (MCC) will be conducting two Optics Workshops this summer:

  • Diamond Turning Workshop, June 21–July 7, 8:00 AM–12:30 PM
  • Magnetorheological Finishing (MRF) Workshop, June 21–July 7, 1:30 PM–6:00 PM

Each 40-hour workshop will be conducted over 3 weeks, 3 days per week, 4.5 hours per day, beginning June 21, 2022.

• Mornings 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM EDT
• Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays
• June 21, 22, 23, 28, 29, 30, July 5, 6, 7, 2022

• Afternoons 1:30 to 6:00 PM EDT
• Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays
• June 21, 22, 23, 28, 29, 30, July 5, 6, 7, 2022

The cost will be $1,260 per participant. Funding opportunities are available for qualified participants.
