EXPO booth space sales open soon.
APAP|NYC's 300+ booth EXPO is the industry hub of the conference and where the business of presenting, booking, and touring gets done. This year, we continue our tiered roll-out of EXPO booth space sales based on consecutive years exhibiting in person. Please make a note of these dates:
-
25+ Years Tier – Opens July 30, 2024
-
15+ Years Tier – Opens August 1, 2024
-
10+ Years Tier – Opens August 6, 2024
-
1-9 Years Tier - Opens August 8, 2024
-
New exhibitors - Opens August 13, 2024
To exhibit, begin with these four steps:
-
Register for APAP|NYC. Only one person from the exhibiting organization must purchase a full conference registration in order to purchase an exhibit space. Be sure to indicate your interest in purchasing EXPO space when you register. (You must be a current APAP member to register. Contact info@apap365.org if you have Qs about your status.)
-
During your tier (see dates above), purchase your exhibit space. Booths are $895 per space. Once one person from your organization has registered, you may purchase a booth. All exhibit spaces are 8' x 10'. You may purchase up to 2 spaces. Your purchase also includes a dedicated landing page on the APAP|NYC online platform/app where you can highlight your offerings and artists.
-
Purchase your booth badges. Booth Badges are $295 per badge. Once you purchase an exhibit space, you may purchase up to 3 booth badges for one exhibit space (or up to 7 booth badges for two spaces) for members of your team. The person who is already registered who purchased the exhibit space should not purchase a booth badge for themselves as they are already registered. Also, booth badge holders are considered full registrants and do not need to obtain separate registrations.
-
Watch your email for more information on setting up your booth. After you purchase your booth, APAP will send you a detailed exhibitor kit, as well as instructions on how to create your online landing page. Have questions? Email us at apapnyc@apap365.org.
Please note:
-
Do not purchase a group registration if you plan to exhibit.
-
Artist registrants are not eligible to purchase a booth. However, if you represent artists, we encourage you to register them at the artist rate of $225 instead of a booth badge.

How to showcase at APAP|NYC:
With hundreds of independent showcases happening across New York City, APAP|NYC showcases are a highlight of the conference and an opportunity for performing arts leaders and tastemakers from North America and beyond to discover new artists and new work.
To showcase, begin with these four steps:
-
Register for APAP|NYC. The conference is the best way to connect with your industry colleagues, and you must register in order to showcase. (Even if you decide not to showcase this year, the conference will help you network and learn more about what makes a successful showcase.) Student registrants are not eligible to showcase.
-
Determine if you are ready to showcase. Showcasing at APAP is an investment, and many have had great success with showcasing. You will need to assess if your work is ready to tour, if you have a budget and the capacity to produce a showcase, and if you have a network of presenters who may be interested in your work.
-
Secure a venue. As APAP does not curate showcases and all showcases are independently produced, you have two venue options: You can either find a venue in New York City. (Here is a list to get you started), or you can purchase a slot in the Hilton with an independent APAP producer. Email us at apapnyc@apap365.org if you are interested in showcasing in the Hilton.
-
Promote your showcase. Showcase listings are the go-to resource for presenters who want to see work. The listings live on the APAP|NYC online platform/app and are where you can provide information about the date, time, and location of your showcases, as well as details about the artist, the performance, and how attendees can RSVP to your showcase. You can purchase showcase listings for $10 each when you register, or you can add them after you register. Showcase listings will be viewable by conference registrants this fall.
Please note:
-
Artist registrants are eligible to purchase showcase listings, although students registrants are not.
-
Many also use the conference attendee list (available to registrants) to promote showcases. We strongly urge you to only send emails to presenters you have researched and who are likely to be interested in your work.
