The APAP|NYC 2024 detailed schedule is now LIVE! |
APAP is thrilled to release the detailed schedule for the APAP|NYC 2024 conference. The detailed schedule is the day-by-day agenda of the conference and includes learning sessions, affinity groups, field-wide plenaries, meetings, networking opportunities, and more.
Are you wondering where to find the detailed schedule? All conference registrants should log into Swapcard, your go-to online resource, and select “Detailed Schedule” in the navigation bar.
You can find session listed by day under the Detailed Schedule and can add sessions and other activities to your “My Event” page by clicking the flag on each. Plan ahead and get ready for your APAP|NYC 2024 experience!

Session Spotlight: Are the Arts Essential? |
Mark your calendars for the Are the Arts Essential? on Sunday, January 14, 2024 from 9:30-10:45 a.m.
All contributors to a book of 25 essays, Are the Arts Essential?, the panelists will talk about how they make meaning in their work, citing their experiences in journalism, philanthropy, music, education, and more.Schooled by that experience, they will detail and defend the wide impact of the arts---from social justice to science, from building community to building cities, from sharing our histories to sharing the news. Expect humility, humor, and a high regard for what APAP members do.
Jeffrey Brown of PBS Newshour will moderate; the panelists include Zeyba Rahman (Duke Foundation), Jesse Rosen (League of American Orchestras), and Mary Schmidt Campbell (NYU and Spelman College).

Explore the EXPO Commons Map in Swapcard |
Maximize your time in the EXPO Commons, and map your plan today!
The EXPO Commons at APAP|NYC is where business happens, and we want to help you navigate one of the largest marketplaces for the performing arts industry. In Swapcard, the go-to resource for all things conference, attendees can now view the EXPO Commons Map under the tab of the same name. The Map includes each exhibitor's location in the EXPO Commons.
Use the map to familiarize yourself with the exhibitors and plan your time during the dedicated daily EXPO hours. You can even flag booths to remind you who you'd like to meet.
The EXPO Commons opens on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at 1:30 p.m. Get a head start, and sketch out your EXPO Commons plan now!
