Changes to the Review of Crown Land Survey Plans

Memo from the Office of the Surveyor General

The Office of the Surveyor General (OSG) remains dedicated to updating and enhancing the efficiency of their internal and field operations. Consequently, they have refined the Crown Land Surveys review process. Although they continue to receive paper submissions, they can accommodate, and would prefer, digital submissions of crown land reference plans. This shift streamlines the process, offering a quicker and more user-friendly experience for both the public and survey professionals.

All Crown Land surveys must comply with the Instructions Governing Ontario Crown Land Surveys and Plans (August 2020)
