Deadline: June 30, 2026

This is a reminder to all holders of a Certificate of Authorization (C of A) and any Government Agencies producing surveys regarding entry of records into the PSRI:


  • Enter all current survey projects into the index within one month of project completion.
  • Index all historical survey records under their control


The deadline for entering all historical records is June 30, 2026.

Important Deadline for Articling Applications

Due May 17, 2024

The Association of Ontario Land Surveyors (AOLS) reminds aspiring members about the upcoming deadline for Article Applications.


What to Submit:

Those wishing to article must submit the completed PART I of the application form (see attached). Please note that only Part I is required for this initial application stage.


Important Note:

Do not submit credit card information via email.


Review Process:

The AOLS Academic and Experience Requirements Committee will review all applications during their meeting scheduled for July 16, 2024.

Remember to Report your CPD Hours

As the year continues to wind down, it's time to ensure you've met your Continuing Professional Development (CPD) requirements.


The majority of members have a deadline to meet their CPD requirements by December 31st, 2024. Please refer to your specific 3-Year CPD Cycle for any variations in the deadline.


All members are required to complete a certain number of CPD hours each year.

The 2024 Geodetic Picnic is an event for you! The AOLS is hosting a one-day event on September 20th at the Nottawasaga Inn Resort and Conference Centre in Alliston, Ontario, and we're inviting you to share your latest research, projects, or innovative solutions.
