For many nonprofit leaders, it seems like a near-impossible feat to get featured on television. Spots reserved for experts with large followings, extensive networks (of people in the right places), and deep pockets. However, there is a far more affordable option available to share your message on television and global streaming networks than you may think.
Nonprofit stories always sell and raise more money - the most progressive, innovative and risk-taking nonprofit leaders know this, and they know it is a great return on investment.
Tanna Horner, Angela Fisher and Liz McCauley are set to join the cast of a new Nonprofit TV Show, created by The Community Foundation, leaders in charitable giving, to provide a low-cost for nonprofit leaders to use television and global live stream media as marketing and public relations tool to position themselves as credible charitable experts in their field.
The television show highlights the accomplishments of charitable organizations, and partners with the best and brightest nonprofit leaders to serve as subject matter experts on causes related to youth, children, seniors, women, foster care, health and wellness, disabilities, animals, adoption services, environment, human services, food insecurity, veterans, mental health, education, arts and culture.
The TV show combines entertainment with philanthropy, as well as feature the stories of nonprofit leaders, philanthropists and humanitarians. The show starts filming in March 2022.
The TV Show covers six counties, including Lee, Collier, Charlotte, Sarasota, Hendry and Glades, as well as global live stream distribution channels and social media outlets.
The deadline to apply to become a cast member and featured nonprofit expert is December 31, 2021.
