New Online CEU Courses Launched!

The Illinois Coalition Against Domestic Violence (ICADV) Training Institute has recognized a need amongst Program Council membership for on-demand training opportunities that offer Continuing Education Units (CEUs). Starting on February 20, 2024, the ICADV Training Institute will be offering free online CEU courses as a membership benefit. The courses will consist of recordings and other training materials from live virtual trainings. Only select trainings will be offered in this format, but this opportunity should help professionals in the field meet their CEU requirements. More details on the types of CEUs and trainings that are currently offered are included below.

Certifications

To begin, CEUs will only be offered for the following certifications.

Certified Domestic Violence Professional (CDVP)
Certified Partner Abuse Intervention Professional (CPAIP)

The ICADV Training Institute hopes to provide CEUs in the online training format for other certifications in the future.

Trainings

Upon the launch of this opportunity on February 20, 2024, three CEU courses will be provided.

Self-Care 2.0: Self-Care is Just the Beginning (1.5 CEUs)
Inclusion Insights Training Series | Diversity and Inclusion: Moving Toward Workplace Harmony (2 CEUs)
Inclusion Insights Training Series | Addressing Implicit Bias and Microaggressions (2 CEUs)

The list of courses offered on-demand for CEUs will continue to grow, so make sure to check Coalition Manger regularly for new training opportunities!

Access Instructions

To access the online courses, or "E-Learning" opportunities as they are referred to in Coalition Manager, follow the steps below.

Sign in to Coalition Manager
Click the "Training" tab
Click "E-Learning" from the drop-down menu that appears
Choose the course you would like to complete
Make sure the description indicates the course offers CEUs
Register for the course
