ANAC supports removal of age limit for HIV testing
ANAC provided written commentary to the CDC/HRSA Advisory Committee on HIV, Viral Hepatitis and STD Prevention and Treatment (CHAC) calling for the removal of the upper age limit for HIV testing in the CDC guidelines. This recommendation is in alignment with the Sept. 18 resolution issued by the Presidential Advisory Council on HIV/AIDS (PACHA) calling for the removal of the upper age limit.
ANAC signs on
As a member organization of the American Nursing Association (ANA), ANAC signed on to a letter issued by ANA supporting the recent proposed rule by Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) that would establish minimum staffing standards in long-term care facilities. CMS also outlines implementation and enforcement requirements.
