This is 4-day IICRC certification class has a hands-on section were students learn how to set up containment, establish negative pressure differentials and properly exit decontamination chambers. The course addresses the industry standards, containment types and set-ups, pressure differentials, demolition and cleaning procedures, microbiology, personal protection equipment and sampling methods. It provides the necessary training to conduct remediation projects and concludes with the exam for IICRC certification.The AMRT (Applied Microbial Remediation Technician) course also qualifies for IICRC continuous education credits (CEC) and is a preparatory course for the third party CMRS and MRS exams . Anyone can attend. However, an IICRC's Water Damage Restoration Technician (WRT) class with exam is a prerequisite for taken the IICRC's AMRT exam.
