Azul and GOL start selling 40 shared routes in Brazil 


The airlines Azul and GOL have started a commercial cooperation agreement that connects the networks of both companies through a flight-sharing agreement. The 40 non-overlapping routes are already available for sale on the companies' channels, with many more expected to be added over the coming weeks. By mutual agreement, the two companies have chosen to develop new options for customers.

GOL Linhas Aéreas was recognized as the most punctual airline in Latin America during the month of June. According to Cirium, a reference platform for global aeronautical data, GOL achieved an OTP (On Time Performance) for arrivals of 90.53%, improving on its performance in May, when it reached 89.82%.

LATAM Airlines Group S.A. launches public offering on New York Stock Exchange

 

LATAM Airlines Group S.A. announced that certain of its shareholders have launched a public offer to sell 19,000,000 ADRs (American Depositary Receipts) on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), each representing 2,000 ordinary shares of LATAM. In addition, the shareholders intend to grant the underwriters a call option for up to 30 days to purchase up to an additional 2,850,000 ADRs at the initial public offering price. LATAM will not receive any proceeds from the sale.

GE Aerospace investing $1 billion to expand and upgrade MRO facilities worldwide


Aerospace announced plans to invest more than $1 billion over five years in its Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) and component repair facilities worldwide. These investments will help GE Aerospace create capacity to meet growth in both the widebody and narrowbody installed base by adding additional engine test cells and equipment. Neste will supply sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) to Hotelplan Group, a globally active Swiss travel group in the leisure and business travel sector, to enable Hotelplan to expand the use of SAF across the whole group. Hotelplan purchases unblended, i.e. “neat”, sustainable aviation fuel for a total value of 300,000 Swiss Francs (CHF) via Neste Impact, a solution that enables companies to credibly reduce the carbon footprint of air travel activities.
