Encouraging a Digital Economy in Rural Oklahoma

The Ada Jobs Foundation has the potential to bring many of the various silos throughout rural Southern Oklahoma together into collaboration and cooperation through the Build to Scale grant.

Once they have identified the talent, they can support these ventures and help transform them into scalable tech startups, while also transforming our communities as a whole. Though it all started with a problem, the solution has the potential to make our local economies stronger than ever.

Peggy Saunkeah's weekly shout out to individuals, companies, and organizations working to enhance Ada and our economic development efforts.

Saunkeah Shout OUT this week is for Valdemar Vieira, new Plant Operations Manager at Flex-N-Gate, Ada, Oklahoma. Mr. Vieira has relocated from Camacari, Bahia, Brazil, to lead operations at the local Ada plant.

Based in Ada, Oklahoma, Flex-N-Gate is a leading manufacturer and supplier of components for the automotive industry, recently ranked 10th of the 150 Top North American Suppliers in Automotive News. A growing and vital company, Flex-N-Gate provides a great opportunity for hard-working and skilled individuals in our community.

Flex-N-Gate has a range of customers, including GM, Toyota, and many others. An ISO 9001, ISO 9002, ISO 14001 company, it has received the GM Global Supplier Award 2005 and many more, from right here – in Ada, Oklahoma.
