BOE is proud to share the report we received from the external review committee of AdvancED. The AdvancED team was here Thursday and Friday, November 19th & 20th, 2015 and spent entire two days in observing and assessing our school and its teaching and learning environment.
AIS passed AdvancEd National Accreditation with history making high scores! Annoor Islamic School was praised as being higher performing than most other first time reviewed schools.
We look forward to implementing the updated improvement plans to include greater challenges to students already meeting standards, improving student use of our technology, and a greater focus in professional development/teacher support. Every staff member, student, and parent is important to our future success.
Physical changes recommended for increased safety and efficiency included bell system and intercom, improved privacy fencing, improved play ground, and ongoing focus on raising donations to supplement budget if want to keep our low tuition costs.
