The Coast Capital Power of Youth: Giving Hearts Workshop is an opportunity for youth from across Vancouver Island to work through a Do-It-Yourself Philanthropy Workshop individually or as a group. This interactive Workshop will provide a new foundation of skills and understanding about philanthropy that they can apply within their community as they become the change-makers of tomorrow.

Join us as we recognize the outstanding acts of individuals, groups, and organizations that have responded to the needs of our community in unique and generous ways.

The up-to-date AFP Fundamentals of Fundraising Course is designed by experienced fundraising professionals to meet the real-world needs and challenges nonprofit organizations face every day.

The International Standard for training the fundraising novice, the AFP Fundamentals of Fundraising Course offers a complete overview of the development function, featuring the most current information and techniques. This 16-hour program includes case studies and projects for groups and individuals, making the learning experience both substantive and enjoyable.

Full participation in the AFP Fundamentals of Fundraising Course is applicable for 16.0 points of CFRE Credit in Category 1.B – Education of the CFRE International application for initial certification and/or recertification.

Advancement Coordinator
As a key member of the College's Advancement and External Relations Department (AER), the Advancement Coordinator will be responsible for gift processing, records management and administration in support for the AER team.

Development Officer, Annual Giving
Reporting to the Director of Fund Development, the Development Officer, Annual Giving takes the lead in developing and successfully executing strategies to support one time and recurring revenues from individual donors as well as granting partners.

Contract Part-time Bookkeeper
Reporting to the Executive Director, the Bookkeeper provides a full range of accounting services to the Eldercare Foundation. This flexible part-time contract position requires experience and familiarity with not for profit accounting. 

Development & Engagement Coordinator
Under the direction of the Development Director, the Development and Engagement Coordinator is responsible for raising annual operations funds, and the ongoing
management of online platforms to ensure data-based fundraising through reporting
and analyzing data.

Leadership & Legacy Giving Manager
In Leadership giving, the Manager will work with individual donors and grant-making organizations with varying interests and capacity of $10,000 and above. While some major gift donors are focused on the Foundation’s capital campaign priorities, many of our donors have interests in our programs and other initiatives – cultivating these donors and growing the portfolio is the purview of the Manager, Leadership & Legacy Giving.
Consultant, Philanthropy
In the coming months we are looking forward to welcoming additional Consultants to our philanthropic consulting practice across the country. Depending on the assignment, these could be project-based or permanent positions, on a part-time or full-time basis.
