COLLISION AVOIDANCE SYSTEMS
Companies often have multiple cranes on a single runway. Keeping cranes segregated can improve operator
safety and reduce wear and tear on equipment.

There are many different styles of collision avoidance sensors. AFE Crane typically uses a simple optical sensor (like shown) and reflector. On a more advanced system we have the capability of using different sensors including some that use radar technology. AFE Crane can install any of these collision avoidance systems on new cranes as well as retrofit them to existing crane systems.
