AFE Crane was tasked with creating a safer method to up end parts from a cart.  The bulky parts were on a castered cart.  The customer lifted one end of the part with a single hoist and load bar from a horizontal to a vertical orientation.  During lifting the cart could kick out from under the part due to the changing center of gravity.  The cart could strike operators legs, sometimes in a very sudden and violent way, causing potential injuries.

AFE Crane created a safer lifting system by employing a dual pick point system and lifting the part off the cart before starting to upend the part.
