Public/Private Partnerships

Did you know you can join us today for this session?

TODAY, Tuesday, December 20, 2022, at 2 pm Eastern (1 pm Central; 12 noon Mountain; 11 am Pacific; 10 am Alaska) time.

Meeting Topic: Public/Private Partnerships

Presenter: Shannon Cox, Superintendent, Montgomery County Educational Service Center

The mission of the Montgomery County Educational Service Center, simply stated, is to strengthen outcomes in education throughout their service region. Achieving this relies on a divergent matrix of programs and personnel in order to support high-quality service and maintain fiscal responsibility for our stakeholders. Public/private partnerships with agencies, organizations, and individuals who share our commitment to improving the well-being of children and families in our region are critical to MCESC's mission. Shannon Cox, MCESC, will share her organization's experiences in developing effective local, state, and national public/private partnerships that address existing and emerging educational and community needs.

We look forward to seeing you at the meeting!

You don't need to be a member of this Community of Practice to join this session - single session pricing is available!

THIS WEEK'S LEGISLATIVE UPDATE

Each year, members of the AESA Federal Advocacy

Committee work together to formalize AESA's Federal

Legislative Agenda.

Membership of AESA's Federal Advocacy Committee is comprised of one AESA member representative from each state. The representative to the committee is selected by the ESAs of that state. The AESA Priority Agenda represents the federal advocacy work that focuses on ESAs specifically. This is the

meeting to set the legislative agenda! It is important that your state is represented!

Each state is invited to send one voting representative who must be a member of AESA. (A state may send more than one member to this important meeting; however, only one vote per state.)
