About our Instructors:

Cynthia Abad Quintaié is a Certified Translator from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA) and a member of the Association of Certified Translators of the City of Buenos Aires (CTPCBA).


She has a Law degree from the UBA and has worked as a translator mainly in the legal field since her graduation in 1998. She is a Conference Interpreter and a member of the Argentine Association of Conference Interpreters (ADICA) and of the International Association of Conference Interpreters (AIIC).


She has interpreted for the private sector, governmental entities and international organizations since 2004 in the Spanish A / English B language combination. In the academic field, Cynthia has been a Professor in the Translation Program of the University of Buenos Aires since 2002 and an Interpretation Instructor at the Translation and Interpretation Masters’ Program at the same university since 2006. She has occasionally been a guest speaker in university contexts and professional conferences.





Silvina Bresler is a Certified Translator graduated from the University of Buenos Aires and member of the Association of Certified Translators of the City of Buenos Aires (CTPCBA). She is a Conference Interpreter and Member of the Argentine Association of Conference Interpreters (ADICA). As an interpreter, she has worked in the private sector, for government agencies and international organizations since 2010. In the academic field, she has been an Assistant Professor of Introduction to Interpretation II in the Certified Translator Program at the University of Buenos Aires since 2010.

Santiago Krsul serves as Interpreter and Translator for the United States Ambassador to Argentina (Department of State). He is also part of the Pan American Health Organization’s roster of freelance translators.


He earned a degree in Translation and a postgraduate degree in Conference Interpreting from Lenguas Vivas "Juan Ramón Fernández", graduating cum laude in both cases. In addition, he is completing an MA in International Relations at Universidad de Buenos Aires (UBA).


He is a member of ADICA (Argentine Association of Conference Interpreters). In the field of translator/interpreter training, he has taught undergraduate and postgraduate courses at Lenguas Vivas "Juan Ramón Fernández", Universidad de Buenos Aires, Universidad del Salvador (USAL), Universidad de Belgrano (UB), the Institute for Study Abroad (IFSA), and interpreting school Estudio Lucille Barnes.
