|
Join us in welcoming our newest member of the ACEware family, Susan Kraft. Susan has taken on the position of Office Assistant. She brings 20 years of customer service to ACEware, plus an AAS in Business. You will work with Susan when it is time to renew your Support and Maintenance Agreement. Susan can be reached at
susan@aceware.com or by phone at extension 210.
Susan is married and has two wonderful children.
Her son, Brendan, is 16 and her daughter, Jasmine, is 8. She and her husband, Heath, have been married for 10 years, and plan to celebrate this anniversary on a cruise in November. It's their first cruise, and they'll be visiting Jamaica, the Cayman Islands, and Cozumel. Heath has never been out of the country before so it will add to the adventure!
In her free time, Susan enjoys reading and binge-watching shows and movies including Game of Thrones, Stranger Things, and the Marvel Cinematic Universe. She also does a bit of karaoke. Because her daughter is also a fan,Susan has watched the new season of Stranger Things 8 times in the month and a half since its release!
Susan will be in the office Tuesday through Thursday, 9 to 4 CT, to answer all of your billing questions. She will also help direct your technical questions to the proper person if your technician is away from their desk or busy with another customer. She fits right in with us and we know she'll be able to give her all to help you as well! Welcome Susan!

Tip of the Month: Mass Publish Courses
|
August has arrived, and with it, the beginning of a new term. Rather than setting each individual course to publish/register, save yourself a lot of time by publishing all of your courses at once! In Student Manger, navigate to Module >> Courses >> Mass Change/Update/Delete/Archive.
Once there, use the
Change web publish/register status dropdown to select
Publish/Register. Then in the bottom half of the screen, set your criteria-if all of your fall term course codes begin with the same characters, you could use the
Course number begins with field and enter just the matching characters (i.e., 19F).
Click the
Preview button to review exactly which courses will be published, and deselect any that you'd like to keep hidden from the web. After selecting
Done to return to the update screen, just click
OK. That's it! All of your fall term courses are now set to publish/register!
Bonus tip: You can (and should) deactivate, lock, and unpublish previous term courses from the same screen.

Report of the Month: Counts of Optional Fees
|
|
How many books have you sold for a particular course? What revenue was brought in for those books? How many parking passes did you sell for that course? If only there was some way to answer these questions quickly and easily, as opposed to going to each and every registration and counting them by hand.
Luckily, there is a simple solution! Enter Reports -> Registrations -> Counts of optional fees. Run the default report for Course number begins with and put in that course number you are wanting the numbers for and you'll see something like:
If you offer coupons, you can see how many people redeemed coupon codes and how much discount you gave in total.
I'm sure there are tons of other applications for this report. Have at it!
