ACEC Alaska is excited to share our accomplishments over the past fiscal year with our 2022-2023 Annual Report! The past year has been an exciting year of growth for ACEC Alaska where we’ve focused on enhancing value for our members and expanding our influence and impact with decision makers. We strived to deliver activities that produce solutions to the challenges the Alaska engineering industry is currently facing. ACEC Alaska has worked hard this year to provide enhanced programs and trainings for the membership and has raised our political influence with additional resources to ACEC Alaska’s advocacy efforts. ACEC Alaska has chosen a focus for our FY 2024 Quarterly Education Series: Workforce Development and Employee Retention. We’re excited to bring you more opportunities to learn how to navigate this relevant and important topic. We’re meeting with ASD regarding how we, the engineering community, can support and be involved in their Career Technical Education Program (i.e. internships) and how this will likely grow as the Academies Program is implemented. Look for more information coming soon regarding this, and other training opportunities.

ACEC Alaska was excited to host our first-ever Project Management Bootcamp through PSMJ! Instead of sending trainees to PSMJ, we brought the boot camp to you! This sold-out training allowed participants to learn new project management skills and best practices to help their companies achieve financial success, engage with clients, and return with a winning culture. Participants spent two full days learning techniques to successfully manage projects, teams, and clients.
