COVID-19 Emergency Fund Our children and families need us now, more than ever, at this critical time.

ACCF Weekly Update

Last week, in collaboration with the  Delray Beach Police Department  Division of Community Service, we were able to hand out clothes donations along with our weekly food drive servicing over 250 families in the community. We are incredibly grateful for the tremendous outpouring of support from our Delray Beach community as we continue to serve families in need of resources.

Rapoport's Restaurant Group, Inc. Annual Kids Meal Summer Promotion Help support ACCF while eating out! Every summer each Rapoport’s location offers $1 kids meals with any adult entrée purchase Monday - Thursday during the summer months (May-Sept), every $1 earned from a kids meal on the select day of the promotion will be donated to ACCF! Participating locations include Max’s Grille, Deck 84 and Burt & Max’s.

Meal Distributions While the County is working on reopening and entering Phase 2 next week, ACCF is committed to continuing to provide meals weekly to our under-resourced families as long as we can while we remain closed. As of May 15 th , in partnership with local donors and restaurants, we've been able to provide 7,450 breakfasts, 3,600 lunches, and 5,725 dinners. We thank our supporters for their continued contributions that make this all possible. Get Your Green On Get Your Green On for mental health awareness in the month of May! Green is the national color for mental health awareness. Healthier Delray Beach wants to know how YOU are taking care of your Mental Health. Maybe you are binging your favorite Netflix show or engaging in more outside activities or even just hanging out with your family every night. #TellYourStoryPBC Healthier Together and BeWellPBC want to understand how residents are impacted by coronavirus and how to provide support. Please share your stories and experiences through this on-line story collection tool. Your answers are anonymous, and the tool should only take 5-7 minutes to complete. Happy Graduation to our Volunteer Linda Rosenthal! Linda Rosenthal has been a volunteer at Achievement Centers For Children & Families for over two years. Although she mostly assists with homework help in our afterschool program, she goes above and beyond to assist in any capacity, from our events to being an advocate of our programs for under resourced children and families. Last week she graduated from University of Massachusetts Amherst with her Bachelor's of Arts Degree in Liberal Arts! Congratulations Linda!

Farm Fresh Produce Boxes from East Coast Farms Thank you to our Board Members for purchasing boxes of farm fresh produce from East Coast Farms to provide to our families during our Friday Meal Distributions!

Kids Helping Kids! From creating snack packs for our food distributions to selling mangoes and using those funds to donate to the ACCF emergency fund, these kids are using their quarantine time to help their community!

International Nurses Week In honor of International Nurses Day on May 12th, and the end of International Nurses Week, we would like to say "Thank You!" to all the nurses that are working around the clock to keep us safe! Thank you for all you do!
