ACC Children's Ministry News

Happy Thursday, ACC Kids and Families!

I hope that y'all have had a wonderful week and are looking forward to the weekend! Remember, this Saturday is our big work-day at the church. We'll have donuts and coffee to start the morning at 9:00am in the family room, then have all kinds of cleaning, purging, yard-work, and more to do! It'll be a great way to spruce up our building for the summer and prepare for the impending construction.

Watch your inboxes soon for VBS registration! Be sure to spread the word about our Camp Firelight VBS happening in July! It will be a wonderful few days with free dinner and faith formation- and of course lots of fun. Scroll down and see what we have coming up soon!

Science with Larry

May 5, 12:00pm

Our May Science with Larry will be more about space, and some fun facts about a famous scientist- Albert Einstein!

Please make sure to register to ensure we have enough food for all participants.

JYF Lock-Out

May 3, 6:30pm-10:00pm

Instead of an all-night Lock-In, the JYFers will meet at the church at 6:30pm for dinner and then a night of fun with some excursions around the north side! Pick-up will be back at the church at 10:00pm. More details to come, but please use the link below to register to ensure we have enough adults and drivers.

Bells Performance

May 19, 9:30 & 11:00am

Our children's bell choir is performing next on Sunday, May 19 at both services for Youth Sunday. Rehearsals are happening on Sundays at 10:40am in the Little Rainbows room in the preschool! It is not too late for your little one to join. Please use the link below to sign them up!

We are still in need of leaders for our summer worship option for God's youngest friends! A simple curriculum/plan for each Sunday is provided. Please sign up at the link below if you are able to help for one Sunday or for many!

Vacation Bible School

July 14-17, 5:30-8:00pm

This summer, we are taking a trip to Camp Firelight for Vacation Bible School! Join us for 4 evenings of VBS with dinner provided! This is FREE to all and is open to kids ages 3 through those who will have just finished 5th grade. Registration opens soon. Contact Jessica or Brock McCracken if you have any questions.

JYF News

Monthly JYF Gatherings

Our JYF gatherings for Spring 2024 are on these dates:

May 19

We will meet from 12:00-2:00 on those days, and lunch is provided! Contact Jessica McCracken, Dawn Schoen, or Liz Young with any questions.

JYF Lock-Out

On May 3, our 3rd-5th graders will participate in our very first Lock-Out!
