How wonderful it is that nobody need wait a single moment before starting

to improve the world.

Anne Frank

How wonderful indeed! ACAM parents and students aren’t waiting to make improvements. One act at a time is how they are doing it. Parents supervise kids in and out of classes, set up for classes, clean, donate and serve snacks, bring and sort recyclables, to name a few.

Students show initiative and leadership as they make improvements: David manages the fundraising snack cart, Trixie sets up for brass class, Emely separates recyclables, all students help set up for class and put chairs away after, youth mentor peers in recorder, chorus, guitar, and (pictured below,) four young mentors are assisting violin students. During online classes ACAM youth provided valuable assistance with computer technology, quizzes, and as dispatchers sending students to their various online classes in break out rooms.

I love the, “What can I do?” attitude of the ACAM parents and students. The result is, “we” can do a lot and little by little change the world.

Thanks for supporting ACAM and helping improve the world.

Youth Take the Lead

Three of the older violin students and an ACAM alumna stepped in to teach the Violin 1 and 2 classes when the teacher was unable to come.  ACAM is proud of the leadership skills and initiative of its young leaders.
