The purpose of the Open Houses is to share background information and specific topics for this phase of the Comprehensive Plan Update. Topics include:

• Draft Criteria for Future Development Areas Expansion
• Draft Activity Centers in the Development Areas
• Rural Crossroads Communities
• Rural Interstate Interchanges

These topics are important for coordinating land use and transportation planning -- and how we manage growth in Albemarle County. The project team will be on-site during each event to guide you through several topics associated with this phase of the project. Each Open House will include the same content.
